The Pre-K and Kindergarten classes put on a powwow for first through sixth-grade students. The Pre-K classes were Pilgrims and they sang songs about Thanksgiving. The Kindergarten classes were the Chickasaw and Cherokee Indians. The Cherokee Indians gave us facts about their tribe. The Chickasaw Indians also gave facts about tribe which included how the lived in small villages and how they helped the Pilgrims. Then the students told us what each letter in “Thanksgiving” means. Afterward, they sang us songs about Indians. The Pre-K and Kindergarten students had a great time and the crowd loved the show.

Happy Thanksgiving!
